Moving forward with new energy: KBR announces expansion of the management team and change of name.

With the expansion of the management team by Jessica Schildbach and Simon Tempelmeier, KBR is entering the 3rd generation of the entrepreneurial family and is announcing an official change of name for the company.  With immediate effect, siblings Jessica and Simon are joining the KBR management team and will run the company alongside their father Achim Tempelmeier. As twins, the two are a well-rehearsed team and bring a great deal of enthusiasm and innovative spirit to successfully develop KBR further. Their appointment marks the transition to the third generation of the family business.

“As a third-generation company, we are proud to continue our family tradition while integrating new ideas to keep KBR moving forward,” say the twins.

At the same time, KBR is also announcing its change of name. In future, the company will operate under the new name KBR EnergyManagement GmbH. The previous company name KBR Kompensationsanlagenbau GmbH no longer did justice to the wide range of energy management solutions on offer and only reflected a fraction of the products and services. These go far beyond the construction of compensation systems and cover a broad spectrum of energy management. The new, internationally understandable name now reflects the expanded portfolio and the global orientation.   With the change of name and the addition of Jessica and Simon, KBR is ideally equipped for future developments. Achim Tempelmeier was pleased with the further development and emphasized the importance of the company succession for securing jobs in the region:
